This EDA investment supports the Puerto Rico Science, Technology, and Research Trust with establishing the Resiliency and Business Innovation (RBI) Project. This investment will build a model for the mainland, and the world, on how to create innovation and economic opportunities after local disasters. There will be three primary components to the project: recruitment of entrepreneurs needing proof-of-concept for innovative technology development, conduct proof-of-concept research in collaboration with partner institutions of higher education and business and resiliency training and support provided.
