Air Transfer Rights Initiative, Basic Analysis of Geographic location within Air Route Network and Nearby Competitors

Throughout history, it has been proven that cities with better accessibility (location) to modes of transportation have an advance over others. In the past, cities located close to a body of water (river, bay, lake) were the ones with that advantage, today in the 21st century, cities with good airport facilities are the ones that have that advantage. For the last two decades in the United States, a concept called air
transfers rights (ATR) have been promoted for certain jurisdictions, which has allowed cities like Anchorage in Alaska to emerge as an important air cargo linking Asian and North American hemispheres.
